Members of the U3A are welcome to join the group; come along and give it a try without commitment. Invitations to each meeting, giving details of what is planned for the meeting, will be sent by e-mail to all registered members about a week beforehand.
We hold a number of relevant books
Items can be borrowed by members for up to 3 months, preferably by collection at a group meeting, or by making arrangements for collection. In either case please message the Group Coordinator via this site indicating which items are of interest. Arrangements can then be made for collection
Our Activities: We have a varied programme including talks by members and guest speakers, and problem-solving sessions. We charge an annual membership subscription to cover the cost of the venue and speakers’ fees.
Assemble at 10.00 for tea, coffee and group discussions. Formal presentations usually begin at 10.30 or 10.45. Our meetings are held in the Crosfield Hall annexe. Selected meetings may be simultaneously available via Zoom for members unable to attend the meeting.
